Top 10 Upcoming Movies For 2018

2017 was an incredible year for movies. Films such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Baby Driver and Dunkirk were all huge successes at the box office and 2018 is set to be another massive year full for blockbusters, once again.

10. Black Panther
Set to hit our screens this year is Black Panther. Another addition to the Marvel universe and this one looks to be ready to shake things up. Packed full of action, a great story and a blockbuster cast make this a guaranteed box office success.

9. Tomb Raider (2018)
Just like we've seen the Tomb Raider get a much celebrated reboot in the video game world with Rise Of The Tomb Raider being a huge success across PS4 and Xbox One, it was only natural that Lara Croft would be brought back to the silver screen. Following in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie, Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl) will be taking on the role and we can't wait to see how this gritty reboot turns out.

8. Ready Player One
Set in the future in a world where virtual reality provides an escape from the mundane, Ready Player One, set for release in March, provides the audience with an exciting, futuristic race to find an 'Easter Egg' left behind from the deceased creator of 'Oasis' (the virtual world).

7. Peter Rabbit
No Top 10 movies list would be complete without a cute family film thrown in to spice things up and in this list that role is filled by Peter Rabbit. Based on the classic tales by Beatrix Potter, Peter Rabbit, starring James Corden, is set to light up our cinema screens ready for Easter.

6. Rampage
Does Dwayne Johnson ever stop making movies for just 5 minutes? Rampage, starring The Rock, is about a giant runaway Gorilla that causes havoc on the streets of America. The film is loosely based on the classic video game of the same name in which a giant gorilla is climbing up the sides of buildings smashing windows and knocking down helicopters. This one is bound to be full of huge special effects and action scenes to rival Godzilla.

5. Venom
Tom Hardy loves playing a bad guy, he's admitted this, so it's no surprise that he's cast to play one of Spider-Mans darkest villains - Venom. Unfortunately, there is no trailer for this film yet, but we're excited to see how this one pans out.

4. Early Man
Coming straight from the brilliant mind and creativity behind Wallace and Gromit, Early Man looks to be a stop motion masterpiece and to top it off the main character gets a voicing from the one and only Eddie Redmayne. The title pretty much gives the jist away but we will wait to see how the plot manifests.

3. Fifty Shades Freed

Whilst it may not be everyone's cup of tea, there's no denying that the Fifty Shades series was hugely successful and it's only natural that the films attempt to capitalise in the franchise whilst it's still hot. Fifty Shades Freed is released February 9th.

2. A Wrinkle In Time
A Wrinkle In Time looks set to be another fantastically magical live action Disney masterpiece. You know a Wrinkle In Time is going to break some records when it stars the likes of Oprah, Chris Pine and Reese Witherspoon. Bending space and time in ordered to find her lost father this movie is bound to be a hit.

1. You Were Never Really Here

Lynn Ramsay's first release since "We Need To Talk About Kevin" in 2012, "You Were Never Really Here", starring Joaquin Phoenix, follows the story of a tortured hitman turned vigilante who brings justice to a sec trafficking ring. The film looks set to be dark, gritty and everything you want from a modern day thriller.
